The rooms at this hotel are lovely and really big - as is the bathroom. The surrounds within the hotel are also really nice (pool etc).
Reason for not giving this 5/5 is that the majority of staff are a bit grumpy and have a lack of English (I appreciate I’m in Thailand but it gave us 0 confidence for booking trips etc through the hotel).
Secondly the breakfast is really poor. No milk alternatives (strange at a hotel who are marketing themselves above average) and not a great selection on the buffet.

Stayed here for one night. Staff is super friendly, rooms are spacious and clean. Pool looks nice too but didn't try it. A short 15min walk and you're in the city centre. All in all a nice hotel, can recommend it.
The pool is warm and always clean. The staff were always welcoming.
I enjoyed my stay, however, there were a few things which made it 4 star:
- It was quite noisy with the air con box outside on the balcony, the surrounding neighbourhood animals and just general noise.
- The bathroom always smelt of drainage
- The location is a good 30 minute walk to the old city and tuk tuk drivers always get lost.
Great starting place for exploring Ancient Town - it is near everything you would like to see while being quiet place to recover after a long day or night. Hotel restaurant offers a nice variety of local dishes and those I tried were delicious. Breakfasts are solid but the selection is nearly all the same every day (and they do not offer hot tea - just coffee *surprised expression*). Inner yard pool is rather small but big enough for a refreshing splash. Staff is really lovely, helpful and kind.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are good and the hotel is well maintained. They take care of you here. The free transport to different places in Chiang Mai was appreciated. When I come back I will definitely stay here

It’s not so close to the main part of the city but I love it. Easy to walk.. 7 min walk to the gate.
It was our honeymoon and they gave to us a better room and this beautiful bed.
The pool was good! But the sun goes out very fast. Stays only in the morning

It's a beautiful hotel, the rooms are well decorated. We choose rooms in front of the pool and it was an amazing stay for us.
Location - As most reviews mentioned the location is not secluded I was unsure while making the booking. However, for us the location was perfect, slightly away from the main canal road with all the hustle bustle... But close enough that you will find commute easy with a bike. And there is a bike rental near the hotel.
We had a comfortable stay here, quiet location yet central. Originally we booked 1 night and we extended it to 2 nights. We had a room on the ground floor with a balcony that goes straight out to the outdoor pool, which was nice especially if you intend to use the pool, but it meant there were mosquitoes. We went around Christmas time so they had fairy lights/Christmas lights in the poor area which was nice at night. Not sure if they have this throughout the year. On the second night we moved to the 4th floor which did not have much of a view but was still comfortable and without mosquitoes. Car park is convenient as we were travelling with a car.
